What ever you do, work at it with all y
our heart, as working for the Lord, not for men...Colossians 3:23
Guinea pig type is best. One with plastic bottom and wire top.
Aspen shavings, paper shavings, or fleece liners. NEVER use pine or cedar shavings.
Stainless steel clamp is great for keeping your bowls in place. Heavy ceramic is good too. I don't use water bottles because it's hard for the hedgehogs to drink out of them.
I feed Spike's Delite Ultra hedgehog food. You can purchase it at
. Tell them you got a hedgehog form King Mtn Treasures and receive 10% OFF every time your purchase food.
Hedgehogs need a temperature between 72-80 degrees. A heat lamp with a CHE (ceramic heat emitter) is perfect. NEVER use a heat rock or human heating pad.
Hedgehogs need a place to hide. I prefer these walk up barns. They are easy to clean and hedgehogs climb on them. This is size large.
Litter box and litter:
I like these corner litter boxes. The litter needs to be scent-free, non-clumping cat litter. NEVER use pellet litter.
Large plastic wheel. NEVER use a wire wheel.
